Gretsch Country Classic Junior handcrafted in Japan in August of 2004. The body is 14" wide and 2.25" deep, the neck is a full scale 24.6" and the sound from the dual Filtertron pickups is huge.

Gretsch introduced the Country Classic Junior around 1998 and offered it until 2005. It features a laminated press-arched maple top and back, three-ply laminated maple sides, and a set two-piece rock maple neck with 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard. Both top and back are multi-bound, the fingerboard single-bound. Neoclassical thumbnail inlays are on the bass side of the fingerboard. Gold-plated hardware includes Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge with ebony base, Gretsch machines, "G"-arrow control knobs, and knurled strap buttons. Dual Filtertron pickups provide that great Gretsch sound, and a raised gold pickguard and black-faced headstock with logo inlay complete the look. This model was relatively rare back when it was offered and it is even more rare now that it is out of production.
