This 3 day auction is for a 1961 ( or early 62) Gretsch 6120 conversion done by Gord Miller of GM Vintage Restorations ( that's me...for more examples of my work please visit the GM vintage website) . This guitar started out life as a 1961 double anniversary. When I got it, it had a bad poly paint job on it and I decided to turn it into a 6120.All parts are original 60s vintage: including original wind mid 60s Filtertrons, pickguard, pickup rings, knobs, wiring harness, late 50s Bigsby and bridge, NOS early 60s 6120 headstock overlay .Gretsch orange nitro lacquer paint job is now about 5 years old and is starting the age and check nicely.Guitar had a small stable headstock fracture....if you look closely at picture #7 you will see that it is virtually invisible
( one of my finer moments in guitar restoration!) I guarantee this repair to be both stable and virtually invisible. Fuzzy stuff in picture #3 is just dust on the headstock.Guitar will ship in a new non original case.
