1964 GRETSCH DOUBLE ANNIVERSARY

For your consideration today is a very cool 1964 Gretsch Double Anniversay. This is the model 6118 in the cool 2-tone smoke green finish. This one even has the original case. This baby plays and sounds great, that great Gretsch sound as they often say.  Cosmetically, this one does show some wear and tear. Mostly paint chipping and checking. Look at all the photos closely as I have tried to document the major wear spots. This is probably not clean enough for a collector but would make a great player. The binding is all intact with no rot except in one place. There is a bit of separation so look at the photo. The neck is straight and she plays great with smooth low action, but the bridge is lowered all the way. It doesn't need a neck set now because the action is nice and low but it is as low as she will go. You can get a real vintage Gretsch for just a little more that a reissue.
