Rock N Roll and Rockabilly cool!!
I have a 1964 Gretsch Orange Nashville model 6120. This is like the guitar that made Setzer and the Stray Cats famous. This was also played by John Lennon of the Beatles on such songs as Paperback Writer.
This guitar was just set up, new strings, intonated, cleaned and polished. It is the original finish and binding, with the binding in very good shape. a couple of small cracks in the binding at the neck joint, but not falling apart, which is quite typical for guitars this age. The frets have plenty of life in them with no dead or bad spots. The electronics were cleaned and sould clean and free of static and crackle. All switches, knobs, pickups work fine.
The finish does have some finish checking from its age, and the back of the neck has some wear, as this guitar is a great player, and rocks! if it doesnt have wear, then it probably wasn't a great sounding guitar.
