Project guitar ideal for the weekend luthier or enthusiast. This is the body and neck of a 1967 Gretsch G6119, the Chet Atkins Tennessean. The headstock has the "Chet Atkins Tennessean" chrome plate. The body and neck are structurally very sound, just the usual cosmetic issues for a guitar this age. There is a light finish crack on the front of the headstock, and some scuffs at its top. The back of the neck where it flares out to the headstock has some finish rubbing, but not all the way through. The back of the body has light buckle rach, and the tapered cover over the neck setscrew fell out long ago. The front of the body has a couple of small scuffs as well. The binding on the heel has some small cracks, but the rest of the binding is intact, with no binding rot. There are NO cracks around the output jack hole. There is also light finish scuffing where the Bigsby attaches to the body. The frets have plenty of life left in them, and the neck has the usual wear. No deep grooves though. I never had any buzzing or deadspots anywhere on the neck. Due to the age of the guitar, it is sold "as is", with no returns. Please ask any/all questions now, and thanks for looking. This fine old axe is a beauty. The timbre and tone of the "Electrotone body concept" are very rich, and unique to this model. The only hardware included are the straplocks, and the tuning machine bushings.
