Gretsch Guitars

The guitar is direct from Gretsch, and from the serial number it is one of the first 30 of these guitars made! The guitar hasn't left its Gretsch case (also included) aside from one recording session. The only flaw I can see or find on it is one less than 1/4" rough spot on the binding on the back of the guitar (not visible enough to photograph).   I received it from Gretsch this way.  Other than that minor cosmetic flaw, I believe the guitar to be MINT.  The guitar plays, sounds, and feels incredible. As a fan Stephen Stills and Neil Young, I'd always been intrigued by the White Falcon and finally was able to buy this one.  The pickups scream and the body has a sound like no other guitar.  Originally the guitar listed in stores for $5050, and these signature models are growing in value. Interestingly, this guitar is NOT stamped "Made In Japan" on the back of the headstock, like later Stills models. This may be because it was made so early on. It is definitely a rarity, and has a great vintage look and feel due the aged white finish intended to mirror Stephen Stills' 1958 Falcon... A great guitar with a great setup!  It comes just as Gretsch sent it, with a White Falcon pickguard included (but was never installed, as per Stephen's specifications).  You have the choice to add it if you like.  

This is a rare chance to snag an out-of-production signature model of a classic guitar, at a very fair price.
