2003 Cherry Red Gibson ES-333 “Made In Memphis” Semi-Hollow Guitar (S/N 040055)

I have a 2003 Gibson “Made In Memphis” ES-333 that I no longer need. It is in good condition (8.5/10). I am currently selling gear as I no longer have the time to play these beauties. It is kept in its original Gibson Memphis gig bag which is included in this sale. As for its condition, guitars are meant to be played and this is a player’s guitar. It has some marks and scratches, the usual stuff for a played guitar. However, it has been well-taken care of.  The neck is perfect with no twists or warping, all the tuners and electronics work, it plays great and sounds as sweet as a 335 should. These guitars are no longer made which is too bad since Gibson actually made a guitar that was reasonably priced for the quality. It has been played in the studio and live so it has a pedigree as a player.

This guitar is entirely stock with a thin satin cherry red finish, maple back and sides, laminated maple top, one baulk mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. All hardware is nickel plated. The pups are the stock 490R and 498T. The cool thing that really separates this from the regular 335’s is the access panels in the back, just like the Gibson BB King Lucille ES-335. The panels allow for easy access to the pickups and the controls. This allows easy access to the various electronic components, making them far easier to service or modify.

The guitar is a relist and had already been packed for shipping. As such, I cannot take anymore pictures. I normally take extra pictures if there are any major issues that warrant special attention. Otherwise, I mention minor items in the description and use just the one picture. It has never been an issue before, but I do apologize if this is creating some concern. No one asked for pictures before so I did not expect the requests this time around.

I will consider any reputable shippers if there is a preference. Otherwise, I will use FedEx Ground or USPS, whichever is more convenient and/or cheaper. Payment is expected within two days of end of auction. This applies specifically to bidders with low ratings or negative feedback. I accept direct payment or credit cards thru PayPal. I accept cashier's checks from accredited banks/credit unions. Depending upon shipping, an estimated shipping cost will be provided depending upon the zip code, shipping chosen, and weight/insurance. Use 22 lbs and approximate box dimensions of 48x18x10 inches to help determine shipping costs. The guitar is properly packaged and ready to go when you are. USPS is the cheapest, but will only insure up to $675 and may not ship a box this size to certain countries. I will take the time to make sure this ships so please be patient.
