2004 Gretsch 6022 Country Classic. Limited Edition Jet Black/Gold only 20 made. I have been a big Chet fan since around 1962. His "My Favorite Guitars" album had a guitar just like this on the cover. I never found one until I saw these online. Had to have it. Too many guitars to play means this has to go.
When I received it and the store had loosened the strings way too much and the bridge rolled over in transit cutting into the finsih between the bridge and tailpiece. They didn't own up to it by the way. But I took it to my local luthier and he was able to buff out 80% of the damage. Now you can only see a thumbnail like curve in the finish from an angle. The pic shows this. Other than that the guitar is in Excellent to near mint condition. I rarely say mint even when they are. Excellent to me means there may be finish points on close inspection, very minor ware on gold plating but nothing someone would see from a few feet away. That applies here.
These newer Gretsches far surpass the originals in my opinion. There a value similar to the Epiphone Elitists. Can't beat them.
Case is mint. I will package and ship for flat $50. Only to US 48. Thanks for looking.
