 You are bidding on a truly rare, limited production (2004-2006) guitar that was re-issued in July 2004 to commemorate the legendary model that Gretsch built for George Harrison (‘The Quiet Beatle”). George used this guitar extensively on Beatles recordings throughout the early 60’s including on the Ed Sullivan Show, “Help!” and at the famous Shea Stadium concert in August 1965. It has been painstakingly crafted to match every detail of the famous instrument that so defined the classic Beatles sound. If you’re a true FAB 4 fan this 60s Icon is a must have for your collection.

 From driving rhythm to ripping leads, the classic double-cutaway G6122SP-1962 Country Gentleman® Classic II does it all. Features include a bound rich walnut-stain body with arched top and f holes, High Sensitive Filter’Tron™ pickups, three-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard with Neo Classic™ thumbnail inlays, double mutes, back pad, gold plexi pickguard, gold-plated hardware and the iconic Gretsch by Bigsby® B6G vibrato tailpiece.

 This guitar is in like new, mint+ condition having only been out of the case upon delivery in 2004 and has never been played or taken out of the house. In fact the protective film is still in place on the pickguard and truss rod cover. It has been kept in its case in an air-conditioned, smoke-free environment since purchased. I am the original owner having purchased this beauty from Ed Roman’s Guitar store in Las Vegas in November 2004 as a special order, receiving delivery of it in January 2005. Also, please note, I am not a great camera guy so these pictures definitely DO NOT do this beauty justice. It is an absolutely awesome looking guitar that has to be seen and held to be really appreciated. If you are the successful winning bidder, you will be thrilled.
