Up for bid is my 2006 Gretsch Limited Edition Silverjet G6129-1957 (all original/made in Japan) in unplayed, like-new condition. I am the original owner and purchased this Guitar strictly as an investment piece. This instrument sounds phenomenal and is light as a feather weighing in at exactly 7.0 pounds. This Guitar is absolutely gorgeous and just about perfect in every way. The only cosmetic issue I can see is some very light feathering on the backside from going in and out of the case. Other than that, there are absolutely no nicks, dings, dents, scratches, buckle rash or worm marks of any sort and it still retains the original plastic coverings on the truss rod cover and backplates. The construction is top quality and the attached pictures only begin to show what a stellar piece this is. This Guitar displays an incredible electroluminescent Silver Metalflake finish over a multiple-bound arched maple top and beautifully figured semi-hollow Mahogany body that has a great big sound. The neck is extremely comfortable and straight as a pin with a smooth-as-silk, bound, Ebony-stained Rosewood fretboard and Pearloid fretmarkers. The Plating on the metal knobs, G-cutout tailpiece, vintage-style tuners and switches is second to none. It also has beautiful Ivory binding on the front of the body and a set-neck.

Bottom Line: This is a classy-looking, great-sounding and wonderful-playing piece with that vintage vibe and unmistakeable stage presence. This Guitar has an MSRP List of $3325.00 and lowest Dealer MAP price of $2495.00. I am listing this Guitar with a very reasonable opening bid to facilitate a sale so Good Luck.
