Well this makes me sick but divorce is forcing me to do it. Malcolm is my favorite guitarist and I bought this Gretsch signature model used and then customized it to look like his in one of its earliest renditions (see the pictures from Hamburg 1976). I installed an actual Burns trem like on his original and then had the pickup cover plate custom made by Pete at Vintage Vibe Guitars.
Then to make my dream come true I was able to get it signed by all members of the band while on their Black Ice tour. I will include a letter of authenticity from myself and the promoter who helped me get it signed.
And yeah it still plays and well!
