Model Name:AIRLINE® H44 STD
From EastwoodThe 1950's Stratotone H44 was one of the coolest blues/slide guitars ever made that featured a short body with a FAT neck. The originals are becoming very hard to find and hard to play! We’ve improved the pickups and the stability of the neck but kept all the vintage appeal of the original. Better than the real thing!Colours:CopperBody:Solid ASHNeck:Maple, Set NeckFingerboard:Rosewood, Dot Markers, 20 fretsScale Length:24 3/4"Width at Nut:1 11/16"Pickups:Single Hot Mini HumbuckerSwitching:Rhythm/SoloControls:1 Volume, 1 ToneBridge:Floating Wooden Bridge, Trapeze TailHardware:Vintage Open Back TunersStrings:intoned to 11's for great slideCase:noUnique Features:Vintage Fat Baseball Bat NeckSuggested Retail:$619.00 US. usually sells for ~$480.
This was made in 2010- I bought it used and removed the 8's that were on it and had DS MUSIC in DE set is up for hybrid slide/ fretting with 11's- that did it....made this a great player for little money. I love the vintage slide tone- great growl but still articulated- think White Stripes "Death Letter"- like the old Son House vibe- but modern like Jack. Flip the pick-up switch and it gets mellow. The tone rivals Gretsch or other vintage/ voiced guitars but at a fraction of the price. Trust my feedback. Gotta move this one to make way for my Starla PRS...need $$$- hate to see this go. Never gigged, no smoke in the house, no dings- CLEAN. Amazing copper sparkle - like the vintage Danos. These retail new for ~$480 with a suggested price of $619...plus these are rare and not made in huge runs. Value hard to find. I am starting cheap, folks.
So here it is...awsome blues / rock slide package. I am putting this up with a low start so enjoy!! PLEASE ask questions. I put up a ton of photos.
Add $15 to set shipping and I will put it in a decent gig bag...otherwise, it will go in a guitar shipper from Eastwood and well insured. USA Only.Feel free to pickup- I am 45 min south Phila, 1 hr north from Baltimore- 10 min off 95.
