Here is a guitar from my collection.  I bought this and another identical one several years ago when Samick took them out of their production line.  I thought -- and still do -- that they were just about as good a guitar for the money that I had ever seen.  So I bought two of these and two JZT20's.  I still have them all, I play the match to this one pretty regularly and left this one in the case to sell somewhere down the road.  This is now down the road and so I'm selling it.

There is not a lot to say about the guitar, it's gorgeous, flamed maple back and sides, flamed maple top, block inlay on the neck, Duncan Designed pickups and like all my guitars, really cool dice knobs.  I have the original knobs and will include them in the case with the guitar so if you want the original knobs you have them.  I put dice knobs on my first electric guitar in the early 60's and liked them so I've put dice knobs on every electric I've had since then.  I think it's a musician thing.  The fingerboard on this is fast and straight, the cutaway gives you room to get up the neck and do some fancy fretwork, it has genuine Grover tuners on it, etc., etc.  These are nice guitars.  I'm keeping the identical one I have and get a lot of compliments on it when I take it out on a job.  The finish on these is just above reproach for a guitar in this price range.

This has been played a few hours.  Not much.  I let a guy play it at a jam session at my house right after I got it, I've played it maybe an hour or two in the studio since then but for all practical purposes it is a new guitar.  Possibly a few minor scratches on the pickguard and that's it.

They did a nice job on these guitars. Greg Bennett put a lot of work in to upgrading Samick's line and he did an outstanding job on the LaSalle series.  They are very well built, the necks are good, all the electronics are good and he got rid of the ugly Samick headstock and put a great looking headstock on.  I like the guitars a lot but I don't need all the guitars I have and I am out of room to store them.  Plus, you know what the deal is, I've found something else I want.

I am not sure what is on this for strings.  I never changed them so it is whatever it came with.  It does have a very nice Samick case with it.

I don't know much about big arch top electrics, I've always played big flat top Martins - a D35S for the last 35 years - and am now playing a Peerless PD75 with all the new electronics in it on stage.  I've sold a dozen or so guitars out of my collection over the past two or three years, sold a 1934 Martin 000-17; a Gibson 125T; a Gretsch 5120; a 1960's Gretsch Country Gentleman; a Guild Manhattan; a Heritage and a couple others so I was -- an still am -- guitar poor.  But I'm getting down to where I can walk through my studio again.  Also paid some bills by selling guitars and amps.  About all I play anymore is a jam session once or twice a month and a festival or two a year.  I don't need 22 guitars to do that.

I know these guitars are made in Korea and a lot of purists have to have some classic Gibson or Guild.  That is OK if you can afford it and like packing your expensive guitars around all over the country.  I can't fly a guitar in the stewardess compartment like I used to be able to.  If I fly a guitar now it has to be shipped in the cargo hold and pay a bunch of money for it and some doofus giving it a big toss into the cargo hold.  (Delta lost my D35S one time years ago and it took two weeks to get it back.)  Big hassle and I don't want them throwing my 1975 D35 or my D28 in the cargo hold.  So I'm playing a Peerless PD75 that I can replace with a phone call and a credit card.  I've had more compliments on the Peerless than I would have ever believed and that's the way these guitars are.  They are gorgeous and a ton of quality for the cost.  People come up all the time and want to know what kind of guitar this is and what it cost because it looks like it cost a lot more money than it did.  I don't know why Samick quit making them, I think they should have hung in there and developed a market for them.  These had a list price of around $1600, which I didn't think was out of line for the quality.  They sound great, play great and look really cool.  What more can you ask of a guitar?

I sure like the Greg Bennett guitars I have.  You'll like this.

Shipping:  $60 any where in the US - UPS ground, more if you want it faster, whatever it takes to get it to where you want it if you are not in the US.  You are also welcome to come and pick it up in Helena, Montana, you could buy lunch, being a musician you undoubtedly have a hot looking girlfriend -- which doesn't show up around here too often anymore -- we could pick a tune, look at my other stuff and just have a big time.  If you are outside the US, shipping will be calculated by UPS and I'll send you the shipping bill before I send the guitar.  It will be in the 100-150 range for most of the world.

Notice that I'm starting this listing late at night.  I figure if you're a musician you are probably up half the night watching videos or Youtube or working on some lick anyway so you are probably up late enough to bid.  I'm a geezer and I'm still up fooling around listing guitars on ebay.

If you want a few more pictures send me a message and I'll try to email you some.

Thanks for looking and bidding, Like Yogi Says, "For people who like this kind of thing, this is the kind of thing they like."  You'll like this.
