You are looking a very nice and upgraded Gretsch 5120 Hollow Body.
I dont feel the need to go into complete detail about everything that is stock on this guitar... It sounds great. Plays great. Has a few minor scratches and knicks... and I mean just a FEW... and nothing that can be seen from 4 feet away. The tremolo works like a dream!
Here is a list and description of each up grade I did on the Guitar. This thing is loaded and is a bit hotter than stock 5120s
** Lindy Fralin 8.1k in the bridge pick up ($140)... Just a normal PAF pick up hand made by Lindy Fralin... sounds awesome!
**GFS Nashville Filtertron 8.3k in the Neck pick up ($40)... keeps the classic Gretsch sound... goes well with the LF http://store.guitarfetish.com/Nashville-Vintage-Filtertron-Style-Humbucker-Chrome_c_100.html
** Sperzel Locking Tuners ($60)... Everyone that has a 5120 knows the tuners are junk... The locking Sperzel tuners aren't!
**Re-wired the volume and tone pots... 80% of all 5120s were shipped from Korea wired wrong. There was no separation between the two volume pots for each pick up. They both controlled both pick ups. I wired it back to the right schematics. There is quite a few articles about it if you are concerned.
And this guitar comes with a soft case that is awesome. It holds two guitars and can be worn as a back pack. Its the Road Runner 60/40 bag. One side is for a Hollow Body... the other side is for a solid body (strat, tele, les paul, ect) It fits perfect!
The only reason Im selling it is because I havent played it in 2 months and almost forgot I had it! I buy and sell guitars quite often as well as up grade them. Its not that I dont like it, I just like my other guitars better
