Selling this beautiful and rare Gretsch. Bought
this around 2004 from Streetsounds online. The only modification I made was paying a luthier to add a bone
nut. It does have that Gretsch sound and is a great guitar. I am a house beginner player and it went
to and from lessons only. It was always well cared for, and was always in a smoke free
environment. There is one tiny
chip on the side is displayed in one of the pictures. Shipping is included in the price and I will only mail domestically.
Information from Gretch Pages:
In late 2003 Gretsch dropped the Synchromatic line, so the the 1570
Synchromatic Easton Jet became the 5570 Electromatic Easton Jet. The only
noticeable difference was a B70 Bigsby in place of the 1570's B700. In 2004
production moved to China for awhile, but when Elliot left Gretsch the 5570 was
done. The last few went out the door with plain truss rod covers, removing any
traces of Easton from the model
