Gretsch Guitars

 This used Gretsch G6120W 1957 Chet Atkins Hollowbody guitar is in mint and unplayed condition. It has spent it's entire life stored in it's hardshell case. I hate to sell it, but the bills must be paid. This is an amazing guitar and it plays and sounds as good as it looks. These recent model reissue Gretsch guitars are of so much higher quality than the originals that it's just amazing. It looks exactly like a real 1957 guitar, but it's playability and accuracy is truly modern in execution.

 Gretsch/Fender recently released a VERY similar guitar from their Custom Shop and it is listing for $12,000. This Chet Atkins features a Dynasonic (DeArmond) bridge pickup and  a Lindy Fralin P-90 at the neck position. And of course, it comes with the traditional Bibsby tailpiece. The cactus and steerhead fingerboard inlays are beautiful and the "G" brand on the body is a classic. Nice see-through pickguard with the Chet Atkins signpost. All in all, an amazing reproduction.
