These amps were discontinued by Gretsch for a dispute with the designer. This one has very few hours on it. It is a super cool sounding, very original looking amp. It has a few cosmetic blems(no sure how the color blems happened, but looks and sounds fantastic) Hate to sell it for I feel it will go up in value the more time passes. Tone-to-the-bone
In true Gretsch fashion, the G6164 Variety 125th Anniversary is a serious tone machine. Point-to-point wiring, a finger-joined pine cabinet, and three Jensen Alnico speakers all contribute toward sonic bliss. Plus, the G6164 has reverb and tremolo onboard as well as both normal and bright inputs.
