Gretsch Guitars

  I just received this Gretsch G6120DC Chet Atkins early 60's Reissue in trade from my authorized Gretsch dealer. It is factory fresh and unplayed. It was unboxed for inspection and to provide the photos for this auction. These current Japanese built Gretsch guitars are vastly superior to the originals. It's sad but true that the old USA built versions were not very well constructed. They looked great, but.......These new models look great, but are also meticulously assembled by highly trained luthiers.

  It's great that the smart folks at Fender decided to purchase Gretsch and started building high-quality versions of their beautiful vintage classics again. These new versions look correct and  play and sound great. This 6120 is finished a beautiful "Western Orange" color and has great woods used throughout. Maple is used for the body and neck, while the fingerboard is rich ebony with "thumbnail" inlays. The headstock has the Gretsch logo and horeshoe inlayed into a curly maple overlay. And, of course, two gold-plated Filter'tron pickups complete the design.  

 This 6120 comes complete with all factory paperwork, hang tag, and Gretsch logo deluxe hardshell case. Again, it is in perfect, unplayed condition, so why pay more? The manufacturers suggested retail price on this guitar is $3775, so save yourself lots of cash. Please peruse my wonderful e-bay feedback and order with enthusiasm.
