Welcome to this auction for a cool PROJECT.  Just traded for this, and will share what I was told.  USA Gretsch Corvette body, with a custom made neck crafted in the USA.  (the original listing had stated an import neck, but the "custom made in USA" has been verified by muliple sources, and as relayed in this email, from one of our fellow ebayers.:  "The neck is not an import. It was made in USA by a small town luthier. About a
hand full of these necks were made out of african mahogany with rosewood
fingerboard and Mother of pearl dots. They were made for the vintage bodies
found in a Nashville storage locker. They were made to order one at a time..
None were installed by the builder. Each neck was slightly different than the
others and required some final sanding and fitting to complete. Settiing the
neck angle was the responsibility of the person gluing the neck in, so they
could vary depending on who set them. There is a very strong scarf headstock
joint hidden on the back of the headstock and not seen on the face". )  Appears to be a one piece mahogony body, prefinish rough, as nothing has been applied to the wood yet.  Luthier made pickguard.   I guess I have to call this used, so, as with most "used" items, there are a few light scars, scratches, dings, and dents, including, but not limited to, cloth scratches; pick scratches; guitar strap rubs.  We do not use stock photos.  The item(s) in the pictures is/are the item(s) being shipped.  Please email any questions.
