1999 Gretsch G6119 Tennessee Rose. Hollow body guitar with f-holes and Filtertron pickups. I have upgraded this guitar with a TV Jones wiring harness and a Tru-Arc bridge. I think the bridge is stainless steel, although it might be aluminum. I can't remember which bridge I put on it. Pickups, tuners, and hardware original. Set-up with D'Addario EXP .011s. Guitar has no issues and sounds great. I wouldn't sell except that I have to move and need to finance my move. I will definitely buy another one of these down the road. This guitar has been played a lot by me and whoever owned it before me. I bought it used myself through the Guitar Center website. I've taken pictures of any cosmetic blemishes I can find on the guitar. Has a few nicks and scratches in places you don't see when you are playing it. Has some swirls on the back that I wasn't able to get with my camera. They are swirls in the finish from shirt buttons etc while playing. They are not through the finish and would likely buff out if one had a buffer. Has a couple of minor cracks in the finish only at the neck. Again, there are no structural problems at all with the guitar and the guitar does not need anything. I am merely pointing out the finish anomalies for those who are interested in such things.
Free shipping inside continental US. Comes with original Gretsch hard case. Has some oxidation on the pickup covers which I have found to be normal on these late 90's Japanese made Gretsches. My '98 Duo Jet has the same oxidation on the pickup covers. The oxidation would clean up with some Nev'r Dull but I haven't bothered with it just yet. Was going to do it the next time I changed the strings.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
