What we have here is a beautiful rare Gretsch G6121 FTW with its super cool Cowboy case, all the case candy and Gretsch Guarantee certificate
This guitar is a FSR for Sam Ash, which stands for Factory Special Run. Only 61 units were built, mostly in July 2007. It’s basically a G6121-1955 (p/n 2400540822), but with the following mods:
- TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron Pickups
- Adjusto-Matic Bridge
- Bigsby B3CBVN Tailpiece
This amazing guitar looks and plays like a dream, slim neck, Western Inlays, Tooled Leather, Bigsby, G Brand and the famous Filter'tron Pickups, single Toggle 3 way switch and much more
Light weight comfortable body, the tone is to die for, killer Twang from those Filtertrons - Beatles, Jazz, Rock, Swing to Rockabilly- this baby does it all !!
The guitar is in great condition in every way. There's are a couple of small lacquer nicks behind the head stock, you can't see it in the pictures, but thought it is worth mentioning.
