Gretsch Guitars

This is a very clean very cool American made 1978 Gretsch Super Axe! Only produced for 5 years (77-82) these are hard to come by are a really nice guitar that plays with extremely fast action and delivers a very unique tone, fitting for Hard Rock to Bourle! The ultra-thin double bound body is especially eye catching by the thick  white and gracefully- properly aging binding. Unlike reissues, this has a pure Ebony fingerboard with Pearl "Dice" inlays. The fingerboard has a Les Paul CUstom look with smooth black wood and prismatic pearl inlays. THe wide-thin neck is similar to a PRS wide-thin or a 80's Jackson. The action is low and the neck is built for speed. All maple body and neck, 24 3/4 neck radius, BadAss Stop-Tail bridge (factory/stock!), The Super Axe  comes with on-board effects such as a Phaser and Compressor, both activated by mini-toggle switches. A 9V battery powers the effects while plugged in and on. Custom DiMarzio pickups were wound to accommodate the 6120 style size body with such a thin profile. The result is a warm tone that fills the room on the neck and cuts through the air on the treble. Original hardshell case included. Sorry no papers.
This particular Super Axe is very clean, there are litirally no dents or scratchs at all. Light brush marks perhaps in strong sunlight on the back, however even in the picture its a perfect, factory coat gloss. Any up-close pictures you need, please let me know!
