 I scrimped and saved for six months to afford this amazing guitar, but when I brought it home, my "significant other" exploded in anger when she discovered how much it cost. It seems that I have to make a choice now, and give up one or the other. Although I adore this guitar, it's not worth losing a loved one over. So my loss will be your gain, as this guitar has really only been out of its case long enough to take the photos for this e-bay sale. This is an amazing limited-edition guitar that is a guaranteed "investment grade instrument". It is one of only 50 that will be built, so it's bound to be a "money in the bank" guitar. Just make sure you tell your loved one what you're doing before you bring it home.

 This fine guitar was built in the Gretsch/Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California by Stephen Stern and his great team of luthiers. It is an exact reproduction of the original 6120 that Eddie Cochran owned and which now resides in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. It is accurate right down to the smallest detail and looks exactly like a real vintage guitar. All of the fine details have been attended to. Some of the features are: western block inlays with cactus, fences, and steer-heads, the famous "G" brand on the body, binding on the neck and headstock, aluminum nut, plexi-pickguard, and gold painted aluminum Bigsby tailpiece.

 Gretsch has provided an amazing array of memorabilia with this guitar. This is surely a tribute, as it includes: a reproduction of Eddie's personalized "tooled' leather guitar strap, a reproduction of the original Gretsch polishing cloth found in his guitar case, a reproduction of his hand-written laundry list, a reproduction of the original tour poster featuring Eddie and Gene Vincent, ORIGINAL fan club stationary, envelope, and membership cards, ORIGINAL fan club button, ORIGINAL promotional photos, ORIGINAL christmas card signed by Eddie, and a DVD on the making of this amazing guitar.

 As only 50 of these guitars will be produced, I'm assuming that most were "pre-sold" just as this one was. The only other one I've seen that's available is selling at $12,000, so save yourself a pile of cash. This guitar is absolutely perfect and will ship in its factory white western deluxe hardshell case with all factory paperwork and hang tags, and will be packed in it's original factory shipping carton.
