Say you want a '55 White Falcon but you just don't have THAT cash?
Get the next best thing.
Take a 2009 G6136T-LDS and turn IT into one...
Rocky sold me this LDS last fall NEW. Had to be THIS model because I wanted a dual Dynasonic PUP platform on a LACQUER body. Urethane will not mellow with age nor will it allow the wood to breath, mature or really open up over time like a lacquer finish will!
STOP sealing guitars in POLY!
Found a 1952 6193-3 (the original Country Club) that was a bit beyond economical restoration so I purchased the entire harness assembly with original caps and STRONG original DeArmond Dynasonic pups along with original bridge and original raised G case. Bridge pup has original albeit cracked spacer but neck pup spacer disintegrated and is currently mounted without a spacer. I removed the Bigsby and installed a modern Cadillac tailpiece to get that '55 look, feel and SOUND!
The best of both worlds. Modern build with that vintage sound and vibe. The guitar has opened up nicely over the last year and will only continue to do so as she gracefully ages that voice.
Oh, and THAT VOICE...
This is the one, the complete package.
This is the most economical way to get a '55 Gretsch White Flacon that I know of. For a bit more than the price of a new LDS you can have one loaded with 50's era electronics nestled in a vintage lacquered tweed raised G case.
I just play my '59 Nashville way too much to let this just sit!
Original '52 6192-3 case with VERY rare raised/embossed G logo on inside of case lid. See both open case images to see raised G. Case is slightly too deep for the Falcon as the 6193-3 was a slightly thicker body. Towel tucked underneath to take up the slight relief and the guitar seats snug with no rattle around.
Free fully insured shipping to confirmed PayPal address within the lower 48 states only.
This package will not disappoint.
Look if you want a Falcon, this is not only THE model to get...
This is THE VERY ONE to get!
No remorse buyer returns.
