gretsch 308271806554267260 Guild X160 Hollowbody Guitar, Gretsch Orange, Bigsby

This hollowbody Guild X160 guitar is in

excellent condition, with no scratches

or dings in the finish.  The pickguard

has been removed, but is included in

the case.  Also included are a set of

extra strings (I've found that this

particular size is perfect for keeping

the Bigsby in tune - I can actually use

it a lot without throwing the guitar

out of tune!) the owner's manual, the

truss rod tool that came with it, the

key to the original hardshell case it

comes in (the plaque on the case says

"Guild: Made to be played"), two pieces

of foam cut to fit the F-holes in order

to cut down on feedback during

extremely loud gigs (only needed them

once) and the original bridge pickup.

This pickup, a DeArmond USA 2k,

mysteriously died on me one day.  That

exact pickup wasn't made anymore, but

Fender, who owns DeArmond, Gretsch, and

Guild, still made a version of the same

pickup with a black bobbin that was

used on some Gretsch hollowbody

guitars, so I bought one of them to

take its place and had it

professionally installed.  That's why

this guitar has one black-bobbin pickup

and one white-bobbin pickup.  The

original pickup is included in the case

in case you want to get it re-wound and

installed so both pickups will look the

same. I think it looks fine how it is,

and the sound is identical.

This guitar plays incredibly well and

sounds awesome.  It's perfect for

rockabilly, blues, country, jazz, or

anything where you want that big

hollowbody sound and a good reliable

Bigsby-style tremolo that won't throw

the guitar out of tune.  This guitar

has an aluminum rocker bridge, which

also helps keep things in tune.  It has

always been kept in its case and

babied.  You will love this guitar.

Everyone who has ever picked it up has

fallen in love with it.

You can pick the guitar up in person

from me in Tucson, AZ, or I can ship

it. I will charge you the actual

shipping cost.  Costs calculated by ebay may not be accurate as they may not take into account the dimensions of the box, only the weight. I will get quotes from

FedEx and UPS based on your ZIP code at

the close of the auction and send them

to you, and ship once I have received

PayPal payment.
