DESCRIPTION: The KSD Proto J
series of bass guitars from Ken Smith Design captures the magic of vintage
basses from the sixties and seventies – including all the mojo that makes them
great – and puts it into a package designed for today’s demanding players. Drawing
on his many years of experience as a studio professional in New York City and
as a world class luthier, Ken Smith designed the Proto J series to satisfy all discriminating
professional bassists around the world by incorporating many of the features
found on his exclusive USA-produced basses into a design that is both familiar
and recognizable to many bassists.

CONDITION: This beautiful Ken Smith
Design Proto J 5-string bass comes from the arsenal of one of Nashville’s most
noted session bassists. It MAYBE has been played once or twice by this noted
professional, but that’s it. It is as nice – or NICER – than any KSD bass you’d
find in a retail outlet, simply because it was hand-picked for this bassist.
There are no signs of use on this bass. It is in pristine condition, with no
issues of any kind. It has been set up professionally here in Nashville at one of the best guitar shops in
the country, and plays like a dream. YOU
WILL NOT FIND A BETTER 5-STRING BASS FOR THE MONEY!!! Read the reviews on
this bass and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

Shipping to most of the lower 48 states
is $55. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii,
northern California, Oregon
and Washington
state is $75.

All shipping includes insurance for the
full value of the item and delivery confirmation. Local pickup is also
available in Nashville, Tennessee.

Please note that my shipping charges also
include a small fee for shipping materials (boxes, peanuts, bubble wrap, etc.)
as well as my time to carefully pack the items to minimize any chance of damage
while enroute to their final destinations. Again, please read my feedback … I DO NOT SKIMP ON THE SHIPPING!
