DESCRIPTION: The MTD Kingston
Artist basses were created for the player who is looking for the aggressive
sound of the large pole, dual humbucking pickups made popular in the 70's and
80's. This fabulous bass is a perfect companion to your "J" Bass or
"P" Bass, and incorporates many of the superior design elements found
on MTD's revered American series of instruments – but at a fraction of the
cost. Carefully constructed using high-quality Basswood, Eastern Hard Rock
Maple and beautifully finished in a stunning high gloss, the Kingston Artist
was equipped to meet the demands of any serious player. All Kingston Artists come equipped with exposed-pole MTD MM-style Alnico
humbucking pickups and have active electronics. The hardware includes a custom
made MTD bridge and tuners in black, and all fretted basses utilize the Buzz
Feiten Tuning System.

Tobias Design Kingston Artist 4-string bass features the rare Amber finish, and comes from the arsenal of one of Nashville’s most noted
session bassists. It MAYBE has been played once or twice by this noted
professional, but that’s it. It is as nice – or NICER – than any MTD bass you’d
find in a retail outlet, simply because it was hand-picked for this bassist.
There are no signs of use on this bass. It is in pristine condition, with no
issues of any kind. It has been set up professionally here in Nashville at one of the best guitar shops in
the country, and plays like a dream. YOU
WILL NOT FIND A BETTER 4-STRING BASS FOR THE MONEY!!! Read the reviews on

Shipping to most of the lower 48 states
is $55. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii,
northern California, Oregon
and Washington
state is $75.

All shipping includes insurance for the
full value of the item and delivery confirmation. Local pickup is also
available in Nashville, Tennessee.

Please note that my shipping charges also
include a small fee for shipping materials (boxes, peanuts, bubble wrap, etc.)
as well as my time to carefully pack the items to minimize any chance of damage
