Gretsch Guitars

 This auction is for an original vintage Gretsch Synchromatic archtop acoustic guitar. Made in USA in 1953-54 according to a 9196 serial number written in pencil on a inside of the body. This guitar seems to be all original and is in great playing condition. It does have some light cosmetic issues here and there, like the binding is peeling away at few places and in couple of spots it actually is missing. There are some light dings and scratches here and there which are to be expected on almost 60 year old instrument, but I don't see any major problems or issues. Structurally it is very solid. It's just need a new owner who will show it some love and take care in restoring it back close to original condition, or just play it just the way it is:) I am not sure what exact model this is. As you can see from the picture it is stamped Gretsch Super Structure and pencil written 9196 serial # inside the F-hole. Great vintage instrument with a lot of vibe. Great sound. Comes with what seems to be original "cheapboard" case.
