The Reverend Flatroc features two classic-style RevTron mini-humbuckers wired slightly hotter than the original Gretsch® Filtron pickups that inspired their design. The result is a clean, warm tone with just the right touch of twang. Add to that upper–mid growl the Mahogany-like tonal responsiveness of a solid Korina wood body, and you have the perfect blues–rock axe. The Flatroc body features black and sides with vintage cream binding. The bolt-on one-piece Maple neck has a satin amber finish with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a dual-action truss rod. Scale length is 25-1/2". The Rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius, while the neck profile itself is medium oval. Other features include Reverend's own Pin-Lock tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tail, 3-way Tele style switching with controls for Volume, Tone and a custom Bass Contour knob.
