You are bidding on a Vintage 1963 Gretsch Corvette. Mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Hilotron pickup. Some buckle rash on back, but in excellent shape for a 47 year old guitar. Comes with case.
All original with the exception of a replaced vibrato arm. Original Burns Vibrato arm replaced with Bigsby arm. '63 is the only year the Corvette was available in Cherry finish with the original headstock, In '64 the headstock was changed to a 4-2 configuration. The corvette was also the first solid body electric made by Gretsch. Good luck and happy bidding!
