As you can see in the photos, this lovely vintage Gretsch is in excellent shape. It is factory equipped with the original old-skool "Gretsch" branded Bigsby tailpiece and Gretsch "Supertron" pickups.  The guitar sounds and plays every bit as beautiful as it looks.  The smoked red burst and flamey maple neck are really stunning.  The action is lighning fast, supple, responsive and natural; the neck arrow straight and very comfortable.  The tone of the guitar is raunchy and aggressive, as you would expect, with heaps of gritty, twangy gretsch tone; huge, detailed, articulate and nasty.  The guitar has matured wonderfully over the years and has developed the sweet, smooth cohesiveness and timbre of a well aged instrument.  Cosmetically, as the pictures attest, the guitar is in very good condition, with only the natural exterior finish wear of a well loved, well played and well cared for instrument of this quality included at no extra charge.  Included is the original snakeskin hardshell case pictured, which has done plenty of casing over the years and definitely looks the part, but continues to perform its duty admirably.
